Category The Art of Time Travel: Magnificent limousines and touring cars dating from the 1920's to the present.
Stout Scarab - 1935

After having built all kinds of machines, from the plane to the motorbike while passing by Skycar, a flying car, William Stout conceived Scarab, a large aerodynamic sedan preceding our monospaces from today. Nine models were built, and this one, found in France, would have transported General de Gaulle.

Alfa Romeo RM Torpédo Zagato - 1925

The Alfa Romeo RM introduced to the motorshow of Paris in 1923 was produced with 500 models in total. The chassis presented, equipped with the 2-litre engine and clothed like a torpedo by the Milanese coachbuilder Zagato, is usually exposed to the Nicolis museum near Verona in Italy where the visitors can appreciate his irreplaceable patina.

Lagonda LG6 Rapide Drophead Coupé #12348 - 1939

After having sold its mark to Rolls-Royce, W.O. Bentley joined Lagonda in 1935. The model LG6, one of the first to be profited from its refinements brought to the chassis and to the mechanics, of an increased power to 140 horses, is superbly clothed here by the designer, Franck Feeley.

Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS Coupé Figoni & Falaschi - 1937

Coachbuilder Joseph Figoni bodied fourteen Talbot T150-C-SS with sublimes Tear Drop bodies in 1937 and 1938. In addition to a line that cut the breath and a well finished aerodynamics, this model contains a true race engine of 6 cylinders in line, able of to propel the beautiful one not far from the mythical bar of the 200 km/h.

Bentley Speed Six «Blue Train» Coupé Gurney Nutting #HM2855 - 1930

The legend wants that the captain Woolf Barnato, faithful friend and Bentley's customer of which he will become the director, drove its 3-seater Gurney-Nutting coupe from Cannes to London before The Blue Train reached Calais. After this unbridled race, this car narrowly drifted from the Speed Six which triumphed at the "24 heures du Mans" between the hands of the same Barnato, took the nickname of "Blue Train ".

Mercedes-Benz SSK #36246 - 1928 - Ex Carlos Zatuszek

The Mercedes-Benz SSK (Super Kurtz Sport) provides extraordinary performances, thanks to its 7-litre engine with compressor which can reach 300 horses. Two original models are indexed in the world, including this one delivered as new in race version to Julio Berndt, rich Argentinean contractor, and been pilot successfully by his brother-in-law Carlos Zatuszek in South America.

Chrysler 300B - 1956

This car belongs to the myth of the "letter series" dear to Chrysler and known for their lines and above all their performances above the average. Been provided with one V8 engine of 5,8 litres strong of 340 horses, the 300B is able to transport six occupants (three per seat) to 200 km/h, a very high figure at that era.

Alfa Romeo 6C-2500 Competizione Coupe #002 - 1948

In 1948, the Milanese constructor manufactured three race cars derived from the 6c-2500ss (six-cylinder motor 2,5 litres) with short wheel-base of 2,50 meters. This aerodynamic berlinette was delivered to Franco Rol which took part several times to the Mille Milles and to Targa Florio.

Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sport Coupé Pininfarina - 1965

Presented at the show of Turin in 1965, the coupe Giulia Sport of Pininfarina is the only model realized on the basis of the chassis tubular and mechanics 1600 cm3 of the TZ racing car. Its well finished aerodynamics profits from a streamlined stern, taking the opposite view of the fashion to the truncated rears.
